Trail Shark Grips use LEKI's dynamic Shark Frame straps to create a connection point between your hands and the poles. This provides ergonomic performance, improves agility and transfers power efficiently during use. A safety release system allows you to quickly connect and disconnect the poles to change the position of your grips. If you prefer, you can remove the straps completely and use the poles without them. These handles have an extended length that makes it easier to grip lower on the rods, providing greater control when you encounter a steep slope or overhang.

The "collapsible" design of the poles consists of a hidden interior cord that runs through the four sections of carbon shafts. After aligning each rod section, a push button tightens and firmly locks the poles in place. Simply pull on the aligned sections until you hear the "click" confirming that the sections are locked securely in place. When you're ready to fold the poles, press the lock button to disengage the lock and fold your poles. This innovative design saves weight and reduces pack size to just 14.2 inches.

The poles use low profile carbide trail running tips. Carbide provides strength and grip while minimal baskets reduce the risk of poles getting caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail.

LEKI's patented FX technology only adds to the longevity of these poles. The sticks are designed in a way that you can easily replace the two lowest sections in just a few minutes. If one of these sections breaks or becomes damaged, a replacement section can be obtained without the need to purchase a complete set of new poles.

These are carbon poles. Although they are extremely durable for carbon rods, they are still made of carbon. Therefore, direct impacts and falls can cause damage. Use your poles responsibly.
