The POC layer is an innovative approach to protecting ski racers from cuts and abrasions. By combining the protective qualities of Dyneema Farbic in a technical base layer, ski racers have a simple but durable 388:2004, are strategically located so that the areas most exposed to cuts or abrasion are protected , especially the collar, neck, under the arm and along the sleeves. To allow a ski racer the ability to concentrate and achieve the jersey has been designed with a high level of comfort and flexibility. A diagonal zipper collector, semi-raglan sleeves and an extended back length offer great freedom of movement. The jersey can be completed with POC layer tights which when worn together provide the perfect racing protection. When worn in combination with a POC skin cut resistance level 4, is achieved (from a maximum of 5) as tested under FR 388-2004.
