Protective base layer
The Resistance Layer JR Sweater functions as a protective base layer for skiers and snowboarders. By adding a new type of stretch Dyneema® developed specifically for POC, the base layer incorporates one of the world's strongest fibers to provide protection against lacerations from sharp ski edges. The sweater is certified as complying with the European cut resistance standard EN388-2016, level 3 (out of 5).
Wool for comfort
The base layer uses a wool/polyester blend in a double-knit construction so the wool sits close to the body for comfort. An elastic waistband ensures the base layer stays comfortably and securely in place throughout a day on the mountain. Base layer tights with laceration protection zones
