Being able to choose your speed and control your turn types is the definition of versatility and fun. The Phoenix R13 Ca WB offers this rare blend of genres with a 72mm waist. Its women's-specific design, a multi-radius sidecut, and a Trueblend Piste core are at the heart of this versatility, which allows you to carve or cruise, at any speed.
Beginner skiers are often less confident and more cautious in their approach to the mountain. These newcomers to skiing are eager to learn, but they struggle to control their turns and speed. Therefore, they may be offered shorter, easier-to-maneuver skis and more flexible, comfort-oriented ski boots.
Intermediate skiers already have the basics down and feel comfortable on the slopes. They can make parallel turns with good edge control and explore more of the mountain. They are able to ski the majority of slopes in most resorts and are looking to improve their skills to tackle the more challenging runs with confidence. They can generally adjust and manage their speed according to terrain movements and snow conditions.
