LOOK Rockerace ski bindings are designed for alpine racing with the same design principles used on the World Cup circuit. The Rockerace concept uses a shortened mounting zone and a semi-suspended heel piece to allow the ski to flex naturally during the turn while maintaining precise power transmission. A long elastic travel improves shock absorption and retention, helping to reduce unwanted releases in aggressive race conditions.

Developed with elite athletes, these race bindings offer instant power transfer and consistent control for slalom, giant slalom, and speed events.

ROCKERACE

ROCKERACE uses a shortened mounting zone and a semi-suspended heel piece to allow the ski to flex more naturally during the turn. The design provides strong boot-to-binding coupling and long elastic travel for instant power transmission, enhanced control, and superior shock absorption, helping to reduce unwanted releases.

Long Elastic Travel

LOOK bindings feature one of the longest elastic travel in both lateral and vertical directions. This extended travel allows the binding to absorb shock and re-center quickly before release, improving retention and reducing unwanted releases during aggressive riding.

Multi-Directional Release

LOOK bindings incorporate true mechanical upward release at the toe piece that operates independently from the heel. This design provides reliable multi-directional release protection to help reduce the risk of injury in the event of a fall.

Short Mounting Zone

A compact mounting zone reduces swing weight and allows the ski to flex more naturally underfoot. The result is smoother, more consistent flex and improved response throughout the turn.

SPX Heel Piece

The SPX heel piece offers 27mm of elastic travel for excellent shock absorption and optimal retention. An oversized heel pivot increases coupling strength at the boot-binding interface for more efficient energy transfer from skier to ski.

Race Aluminum Toe Piece

The full-metal Race Aluminum Toe Piece offers 45mm of elastic travel and 180° multi-directional release. Its durable construction ensures precise power transmission, consistent release behavior, and reliable performance across all alpine race disciplines.

Roll Control (Coupling Strength)

LOOK bindings are designed for high coupling strength between the boot and binding. This minimizes lateral movement before the ski engages, providing more direct energy transfer and precise control.

GripWalk Compatibility

GripWalk compatible bindings work with both traditional alpine (ISO 5355) and GripWalk (ISO 23223) boot soles, allowing for flexible boot compatibility without compromising release performance.
