The 2025 Maxxis Dissector returns with significant improvements in control, cornering, and braking. Its widened side knobs provide an increased contact surface for optimal grip and stability, especially on compact terrain. The central tread maintains its fast 2-3-2 profile, but now incorporates split central knobs for more aggressive braking and better adaptation to uneven terrain. The transition knobs are more offset for smoother and more predictable cornering.

________
3C MaxxTerra:
An intermediate rubber compound configuration used in some mountain bike tires. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and provides better traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, while also offering gentler wear and lower rolling resistance than MaxxGrip.

________
3C MaxxGrip:
3C MaxxGrip uses the softest rubber compounds to provide optimal grip and slow rebound, ensuring unmatched traction on descents.
________
EXO:
An extremely cut and abrasion resistant material is added to the sidewalls of some MTB tires. This tightly woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, preserving the tire's performance. Opt for EXO protection on particularly rocky and uneven trails where the risk of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.

________
EXO+:
The EXO+ construction combines two of the best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer extends from bead to bead, while an EXO layer runs along the sidewalls. The combination of these two materials creates EXO+, which improves tread puncture protection by 27%, sidewall durability by 51%, and pinch flat resistance by 28%.

________
Double Down (DD):
DoubleDown (DD) represents the next step in the evolution of double-layer tire casings for enduro. Two 120 TPI casing layers, reinforced with a butyl insert, provide the enduro rider with the support and protection of a downhill tire, all in a lighter package.
