Description
The Cularis Pure is built around a novel approach to the helmet visor. An interchangeable cover sits over the top of the helmet and can be swapped out to close the ventilation ports when conditions get wet, or removed to maximize airflow on hotter days. In either case, the visor is designed to break away in the event of a frontal impact, reducing forces transmitted to your head and neck.
Extended protection zones around the temples and back of the head provide extra coverage in areas where impacts are most likely to occur. An optimized EPS liner concentrates protection where it is most needed, while a lightweight PC shell adds structural stability without adding unnecessary bulk. The result is a lightweight helmet that takes you to technical terrain, without slowing you down on the climbs.
The Cularis Pure features the Mips Evolve system, a rotational impact protection system that acts to reduce rotational forces in the event of an angled impact, the most common type of impact encountered in real-world falls. A 360° adjustment system makes it easy to find a secure and comfortable fit for a variety of head shapes.
