Description
The R-550 is a hybrid between the 105 pedal and the R-540. It uses the same platform as the 105, although made of resin rather than carbon, and the chrome-moly axle of the R-540. The result is a pedal aimed at cyclists looking for a lighter, sleeker, and slightly more high-tech option than the R-540. The spring tension is adjustable, allowing beginners to choose an easier and more secure fit. The platform, reinforced with a stainless steel plate, is wide, which increases foot stability and maximizes power transfer.
