Overview

The completely revamped Mantra 84 W is for sporty female skiers who prefer groomed slopes but can't deny their affinity for freeriding. Its 3D radius sidecut makes it easy and playful to turn both on and off-piste. Longer radii at the tail and tip allow for excellent maneuverability at high speeds and for wide turns. The new Mantra 84 W's characteristics also benefit from the innovative Völkl Tailored Carbon Tips: Individual carbon fibers are embroidered onto a carrier material and precisely positioned along the stress lines. With millimeter-accurate alignment and fiber thickness, the skiing characteristics of the Mantra 84 W have been perfectly adjusted for superior stability, especially given its low weight. That said, it can still be pushed very hard without requiring much strength. The improved on-piste properties and the possibility of occasionally venturing off groomed trails make the ski even more appealing.
