Description

The Blaze 86 builds on what the other models are known for: lightness, versatility, and agility. Because there is no Titanal, the ski is a bit livelier and also a bit lighter. The Blaze 86 is designed for fast, tight turns, although the three different sidecut radii also handle demanding terrain, speed, and long, extended curves. The suspension tips and tails give the ski stability, increase buoyancy, and protect the ski off-piste. The Blaze 86 is an excellent touring ski option for backcountry skiers who are willing to accept 100g of extra weight in exchange for a much improved skiing experience. Built around a lightweight, high-performance wood core from tip to tail, it can handle ascents and makes the descent enjoyable (unless the snow is too deep). A very versatile technological package that gives the Blaze 86 an intuitive feel and an unusual level of creativity. The Blaze series is designed for fast, short turns. But its three different radii, especially in combination with a multi-layer full hybrid wood core, allow it to adapt to all riding styles and handle even the most ambitious uses. The Blaze 86 is ideal for sporty all-terrain skiers who want to go off-piste, as well as classic freeriders and touring skiers who are happy to take on an extra 100g in exchange for significantly improved performance.
