The transition from Renntiger to Racetiger is a real generational change. During the development phase of the new Racetiger SL R JR, the research and development team collaborated with ski legends Giorgio Rocca and Manfred Pranger, as well as their children: Francesco and Giacomo Rocca, Mario and Laura Pranger. Many budding competitors from various ski clubs were also involved. The feedback provided by these talented young skiers combined with the skills of their respective fathers significantly contributed to the development of the new junior competition ski. Although the type of ski construction is identical for all lengths, the thickness or proportion of materials varies from one length to another. Torsionally Soft Tip technology gives the spatula a more direct, more precise and more reliable response. Tip flexibility increased by 60% offers young skiers greater ease in initiating turns and allows them to apply less force from the start to the end of the turn. The current range is also equipped with an interface equipped with a two-part Race plate which gives the flex line more roundness and harmony and ensures a more even distribution of grip. Thanks to the new drilling template, the front toe can be mounted with only 3 screws instead of 4. The result is more direct responsiveness of the edges and more efficient transmission of support which gives the ski a more forgiving glide.
