Over the past decade, the Black Pearl 88 has transformed the way women ski the mountain. The Pearl was designed to give you the best tool for carving your turns anywhere, anytime. With its women's-specific TrueBlend wood core and FluxForm All-Mountain WSD construction, there's never been a better time to hop on a Black Pearl and ski with confidence.
Beginner skiers are often less confident and more cautious in their approach to the mountain. These newcomers to skiing are eager to learn, but they struggle to control their turns and speed. Therefore, they may be offered shorter, easier-to-maneuver skis and more flexible, comfort-oriented ski boots.
Intermediate skiers already have the basics down and feel comfortable on the slopes. They can make parallel turns with good edge control and explore more of the mountain. They are able to ski the majority of slopes in most resorts and are looking to improve their skills to tackle the more challenging runs with confidence. They can generally adjust and manage their speed according to terrain movements and snow conditions.
