Description
The 8-Bit Pack Pliers multi-tool is a lightweight tool with 17 functions. Eight bits are stored in the handles of the pliers using magnets and an ingenious storage system. These bits then fit into an 8mm ball-pivot head with a 4mm opening for hex bits, increasing the versatility of the pliers. This new multi-tool was designed to solve most small repairs, whether on MTB or road.
17 functions: spoke wrench; valve core wrench; flathead #3.5 and Phillips #2 screwdriver bits; 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8mm hex wrenches; Torx T10 and T25 compatible bits; quick link installation and removal; sealant clog cleaner on valve. Tighten valve stem locknut.
Magnets hold all bits in place.
Ball-pivot head allows access to hard-to-reach places.
Handle also serves as a lever for additional torque when the head is twisted.
8mm hex bit tested to over 40 Nm of torque.
The 8-Bit Pack multi-tool pliers are part of the 8-Bit system, a set of multi-tools designed to work together and solve most trailside issues. Lightweight, robust, and versatile, they are compact enough to fit in a jersey pocket or tool bag. The system is completed by the 8-Bit chain breaker and multi-tool knife, as well as the 8-Bit Pack multi-tool tire lever and rim dent remover. Thanks to magnets and an ingenious design, the three tools fit together perfectly for compact storage.
Compatibility
- Pliers works with 9-, 10-, 11- and 12-speed master links and chains (not compatible with Campagnolo 12-speed chains)
- Master Link storage is compatible with SRAM PowerLock Link, Shimano Quick-Link, KMC Missing Link and other similar master links (not compatible with Connex Links by Wipperman)
- Pedals and seized axles may be beyond the 20 Nm max torque of the 5mm and 6mm hex bits.
