Conçu pour le backcountry et le freeride engagé, l’Atomic Backland 109 combine grande flottaison et excellente efficacité en randonnée dans une construction légère et à faible impact. Le profil FreeTour associe davantage de bois de peuplier et moins de métal, de fibre de verre et de résine afin d’obtenir un flex plus harmonieux et des performances dynamiques. Avec ses 109 mm au patin et sa spatule HRZN 3D, il offre une excellente portance en neige profonde, tandis qu’un insert en frêne sous la fixation renforce la solidité. Le noyau Ultra Light Woodcore en peuplier et caruba garantit un équilibre optimal entre légèreté et performance. Le Powder Rocker, avec spatule et talon marqués et un cambre sous le pied, assure une skiabilité fluide et ludique en poudreuse comme en neige trafollée ou croûtée. Grâce à une sélection de matériaux à plus faible impact carbone, cette construction réduit les émissions de CO2 de 26 % (par rapport au Backland 100, 2022). Inspiré par Chris Rubens, ce ski offre un équilibre idéal entre poids et performance pour le freeride touring.
