The stiffest boot in the Backland range, the Atomic Backland Carbon offers the ideal balance between light touring and stable downhill performance. Designed with an intermediate flex and a slim 98 mm last, it is perfectly suited for narrower feet. Prolite construction creates a lightweight shell and cuff that wraps the foot, while incorporating reinforced zones for responsive downhill skiing. The Cross Lace 2.0 system integrates a cable through the buckle for a secure fit with firm support for the foot and ankle. A Free/Lock 4.0 ski/walk mechanism provides solid, reliable downhill performance while allowing for adjustable forward lean. The Frictionless Pivot and 74º cuff range of motion ensure natural movement for effortless climbs. The breathable, washable, PVC-free 3D Platinum Tour liner, featuring Dry Fit foam, adds rigidity and wraps the foot evenly for optimal comfort. The shell and cuff can be customized using Memory Fit technology.
