Temperature: Transformed light snow and old snow from -1°C to -22°C (30°F to -7°F)
Heat the base with a wax before applying the grip wax. This way, your grip wax will wear out less quickly.
Base wax for all grip waxes in conditions below -1°C. For coarse-grained snow that heavily wears out the grip wax. Apply and heat with a waxing iron (110°C), then smooth with a cork to finish. Base wax is easier to apply if it is cold. Leave it in the refrigerator or outside in the snow before applying.
