SRAM's NX rear derailleur features five different technologies while remaining affordable:
- Cage Lock: allows for faster and easier removal and installation of wheels, as well as chain
- Roller Bearing Clutch: derailleur bounce and chain slap are eliminated without sacrificing precision
- X-Actuation: Shifting is crisp and consistent across the entire cassette
- X-Horizon: For faster, more precise shifting, the wide offset design of the top pulley maintains a consistent chain gap on all gears.
- X-Sync: provides the highest level of performance and durability
