The most reliable connection between wheel and fork. The DT Swiss RWS axle with aluminum lever stands for a strong and reliable connection between wheel and fork. By directly transferring the lever force to the thread, the RWS can achieve a clamping force up to 50% higher than with conventional quick couplers. This is not only safer, but also increases rigidity, which is particularly nice with disc brakes.
Boost Sizing: Boost refers to larger axle dimensions. Frame and fork manufacturers use it to build stiffer bikes. A flatter spoke angle on the wheel can be created by increasing the distance between the flanges, which improves symmetry and increases stiffness, especially on larger wheels.
