Description
Description
Lively and wild, yet light and comfortable, the new Octo is designed for alpine skiing aesthetes. Carving purists will find it an engaging, high-performance machine for groomed snow. Its short radius and sporty flex evoke a slalom ski, but the slight oversteer provided by the combination of tapered tips and rocker allows you to change the rhythm and shape of your turns at will, moving smoothly from short to medium turns, or even skidding if that’s what you’re looking for. Its construction, combining poplar wood and fiberglass, gives the Octo a solid and reassuring feel while remaining light and agile underfoot. Its 84 mm width accentuates this impression by facilitating quick transitions from edge to edge.
