Built for an aggressive skim style, the Phase Five MVP wakesurf board combines features that set it apart. First, notice its deck fully covered in Techno Traction V2 EVA grip with a nose kick tail for superior foot control. John’s idea with this nose kick was to gain leverage for executing revert tricks. The MVP was redesigned in 2026 with a 3/4" tapered core throughout and a more aggressive skimboard outline. The tapered core, unique in the Phase 5 lineup, offers more sensitivity at the nose and tail. The bat tail, pinched nose, and V-Spline contours under the board deliver maximum speed and maneuverability. It is made of Hybrid Carbon™ to withstand impacts and is set up with a single fin, our 1" Skim Fin.
